Ear Aesthetics (Otoplasty)
Otoplasty surgery is an extremely simple operation that can be applied to patients of all age groups aged 6 years and above, lasting an average of one and a half to two hours, except for complicated cases. Although the surgical technique varies according to the problem in the ear, the cartilage tissue is usually reached with an incision made on the back of the ear. Sometimes sections are removed from the cartilage tissue, or the ear is shaped by gently rasping on the cartilage without removing the tissue. The ear is folded backwards without disturbing the anatomical fold structure. Since it is studied from the background of the ear after the surgery, no trace is encountered afterwards.
The fact that the prominent ear problem, which causes loss of self-confidence, especially in young children and young people, can be found with an extremely simple operation and the prominent ears can be treated, helps our patients to eliminate both psychological and aesthetic problems. Prominent ear surgery is one of the most frequently performed aesthetic surgeries, especially during the semester.
